Description
Bulwagan ng mga Katutubo sa Pilipinas
Bulawagan ng mga Katutubo sa Pilipinas (Hall of the Filipino Natives) is situated at Sitio Bacao, Barangay Dona Josefa, Palayan City. It served as one of the relocation areas of the indigenous Aeta highlanders during the June 15, 1991, Mount Pinatubo eruption. As has been noted, it is the second-largest volcanic eruption of this century, and by far the largest eruption to affect a heavily populated area.

In addition, this center is also their refuge for all their needs, from food, medicines and household needs. Unfortunately, during typhoon season these groups of Aetas are most at risk due to floods and typhoons as their houses are not strong enough to survive the storms.

Several charitable organizations are conducting outreach programs to help the small and poor community during times of need.
Furthermore, the initiative of Catholic Diocese of Cabanatuan, has set up the Bacao Reforestation Center. Fr. Chito Beltran is the head of that program.
